Who am I?

My name is Zoe (but you can call me Akemi), and I am the author of this blog.  I won't reveal my age, but I'm pretty darn young and am a complete and utter nerd.  I love anime, video games, the BBC, art, history, science, and everything else that is awesome.  I also try to keep up with the news and politics as much as I can and attempt at enriching my life more through learning how to play music and improve my artwork.  I aspire to become either a neurochemist or an art director of a video game company... unless I end up on the street as a hobo, of course.

I'm a Japanese American introvert trying to grasp a voice of some sort.  I've never been good with the whole socializing thing so my group of friends stay as relatively tight as my mouth most of the time.  In this way, I will use my blog to help me express my feelings and improve my writing at the same time.  In addition, I aspire to utilize this blog for promoting my art and other work that will be sold to earn money for college and other things.
